Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa, located on the banks of the Campuhan River, is within easy walking distance of shops, galleries and restaurants. Ibah is located in Ubud on the bank of the Oos River where it conjoints with the Tjampuhan River. Ibah is about 1-hour drive from Bali International Airport, and only 5 minutes walk to the Ubud Centre.

The Concept
'Ibah', which means 'bequest' in Indonesia, was completed on the former site of the Tjetjak Inn in 1995 and offers visitors more than the amenities of a luxury hotel. Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa is a hand crafted meditation in the art of relaxation. Blending modern and traditional Balinese design, Ibah is one of Ubud's most established boutique hotels.

The Spa at Ibah
The Spa at Ibah Luxury Villas is a calming centre of traditional Balinese therapies, with intricately-carved stone doors leading into the thatch-roofed villa, decked out in natural timbers, Indonesian ornaments and hues of cream, in the serenity of traditional gamelan music, birds singing and running water from the ponds and Mini-waterfalls in Ibah's gardens.

The Spa at Ibah uses organic ingredients gathered from Bali's own jungles, mountains and shores to create innovative signature scrubs, lotions and essential oils. Cocoa beans from Tabanan produce a conditioning chocolate scrub, salt from the coast makes an invigorating sea salt scrub, while green tea from the nearby mountainside creates an anti-ageing scrub bursting with anti-oxidants. Enjoying these products is made all the more easier by the soothing ambience of the raised spa-villa in which Ibah's professionally-trained staff will drain all tension out of your body and leave you feeling completely rejuvenated.

The air is scented with Bali's iconic flower, the sweetly-fragrant frangipani, bundles of which float in bowls of water placed around the pavillion and under the massage tables. There are separate, private areas for manicures and pedicures, facials, crème baths, massage and body scrubs, flower baths and of course the large Jacuzzi overlooking Ibah's lush tropical gardens and beyond to Ubud's rice paddies. In this soothing environment, you can enjoy classic treatments such as the Balinese massage and cleansing lulur or warming boreh scrubs. Accommodation
Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa offers 16, each Villa is uniquely designed, with views of the Balinese countryside in the quiet Ubud hills.

All rooms have been named after flowers, and offer have Roman blinds, wooden shower floors, air conditioning, ceiling fan, exhaust fans or air-conditioning in the bathrooms, beautiful ceramics, earthenware pots and earthenware or wooden dishes, and most have Javanese glass paintings.

Roofs are thatched with elephant grass, some ceilings are visibly covered with woven bamboo mats. The roof tops have traditional designs made of ijuk, the black fibre of the jaka palm tree, with animal figures such as bulls or snakes.
