Location
The Gangsa is located down a hidden back lane in the revered priestly village of Sanur, which is only 2kms from a coral protected white sandy beach. Convenient access to Bali’s main Bypass means only a short drive to the airport or Kuta for shopping, while the artist village of Ubud is only a 30 min trip into the cultural pulse of the island. Distance from international airport is approx. 30 minutes, from kuta approx. 30 minutes and from art centre is approx. 20 minutes.

The Concept
The name ‘Gangsa’ refers to the keyed instrument that plays the resonant melodies in a traditional Balinese orchestra. This choice of name is a conscious effort to preserve the island’s vibrant culture through tourism.

The Gangsa’s luxurious spa facility, Rebab, provides a comprehensive menu of traditional Balinese healing and beauty treatments that explore the ancient Hindu belief that balance is the very essence of overall wellbeing. About Architecture and Interior Design
Each villa follows a contemporary décor with subtle Balinese touches designed by the same team that created the stylish look for the Kayumanis villa properties in Ubud and Nusa Dua.

Floors are of either terrazzo, terracotta or of Bangkirai hardwood parquet from Borneo. Roofs are alang-alang with Bangkirai hardwood as the roof structure. Shaft and pillars are coconut timber. Interior in most of bedroom, living room, dining and kitchen area are made from teak wood with melamine finishing and traditional rattan floor mat. In room amenities are of either ceramic or bronze finishing plywood.

With only limited seating capacity, the gangsa restaurant provides stylish dining for couples or small groups and introduces some exotic Asian flavors created especially for this property.

Alternatively, for a more intimate experience, a fully catered candlelight BBQ dinner can be set up in the confines of your villa any evening of the week with prior notice. Ideal for honeymooners or couples rekindling their love, this romantic dinner with full flower decoration that has become a signature touch exclusive to the Gangsa.

While most villa properties have been designed solely for the pleasure of adults, the Gangsa is a family orientated environment with a selection of villas capable of sleeping up to 6 people.
