The Conservatory
The Conservatory serves a modern eclectic cuisine with Mediterranean and Pacific- Rim influences, created by Executive Chef Paul Gayler, who is especially renowned for his vegetarian cooking. The glass-roofed Conservatory is strikingly decorated in the style of Brighton Pavilion with exotic palms, Chinese lanterns and Oriental figurines. Open seven days a week, The Conservatory serves breakfast, lunch and dinner menus (both set price and a la carte). On Sundays, a brunch menu is available with unlimited Taittinger champagne. Music also features strongly in The Conservatory, with gentle piano music accompanying afternoon tea, live jazz at the Supper Dances on Friday and Saturday evenings and soft jazz during Sunday Brunch.
The Library Bar
The Library Bar, rated by Hardens 2004 as the “Best hotel bar in the world”, houses the ‘Liquid History’ collection of vintage cognacs, some of which are over 200 years old. Accompanying this is a collection of aged and rare cigars, many of which are not available elsewhere in the UK.
Butlers
Hotel guests are looked after by personal butlers; a complimentary service available 24 hours/day to all rooms. Sean Davoren is the Head Butler who is responsible for overseeing the team of Lanesborough butlers. The butlers can assist with unpacking, packing and the co-ordination of social and business itineraries.
Private Dining Rooms
The Lanesborough has five individually designed rooms – the largest accommodating two hundred and fifty guests for a reception. The rooms are available for private dining, business meetings and social gatherings. In addition four of the rooms are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies.
