Take a front seat for the 1st August fireworks
The traditional garden party for Switzerland’s national day will take place in the gardens of the Beau-Rivage Palace. There will be a sumptuous buffet on the terrace and dancing to a live orchestra under the stars, accompanied by the amazing fireworks with which the city of Lausanne lights up the lake. And with special menus for this festive occasion, the Café Beau-Rivage and L’Accademia celebrate too.

Savour a taste of the Middle East
From 30th June to 9th July, the Café Beau-Rivage becomes a little piece of Lebanon. Dany Nakhle, the young visiting chef from the Royal Hotel, Beirut, will be creating his irresistible ‘mezze’ and tempting you with his desserts, which as numerous as they are colourful and delicate. Lebanese specialities are really as good as they look!
Summer on our terraces
Looking out to the lake, the terraces, either in sunshine or under the stars, are wonderful places to be in the summer. For a leisurely drink, there is the relaxed ambience of the BaR, which in the evenings will enchant you with seductive Cuban rhythms. Or, you can enjoy the contemporary styling of the new terrace at the Bar Anglais. The restaurants too will be celebrating summer … rediscover the elegance of La Rotonde, with its splendid garden views or the refined atmosphere of the Café Beau-Rivage, which opens out on the rose garden. And finally, just a couple of steps away, Italian cuisine at its best on the terrace of L’Accademia.
From July to September, gourmet cruises on the “Montreux”
The 100 year-old steamship “Montreux”, now the oldest of all pleasure boats on Lake Geneva, had its splendid steam engine rebuilt in 2001, still conserving its marvellous Belle Epoque allure. Its summer cruises, including dinner on board, make for a very happy mix of old-fashioned cruising and the gastronomic delights of the Beau-Rivage Palace. You will be able to enjoy grilled meats, the antipasti buffet and wonderful desserts. And all this while crossing the lake and landing at either Evian or Yvoire. Immediate boarding now!
